The Demonstration Centre of China Agriculture Technology in Tanzania has been working effectively in promoting Tanzania’s agricultural production, a Chinese agriculture expert said. - The Demonstration Centre of China Agriculture Technology is located roughly 115 miles Dar-es-Salaam in Dakawa, Morogoro region, central Tanzania. The focus crops for the center include rice, corn, vegetables, and bananas.
- In June 2012, the China-Tanzania Modern Agricultural Industrial Park was established in Kizumbi district, Shinyanga province, north-central Tanzania. The project, backed by Dahong Group (Jiangsu Province), hoped to found two cotton processing factories, a textile factory, honey-refining factory, packing factory, oil pressing plant, and an agricultural demonstration school by 2014.
